These youth have impressed me in several ways. Overall, they have not complained about the food, they've been willing to jump into new jobs at the Kingdom House...and they have worked very hard.
We've also had some fun along the way. Yesterday when we were at the top of the arch I snapped this photo. It's not a particularly great photo (or flattering, i guess), but it shows something that amazes me: This group of kids enjoy one another and want to be together. And, by the way, ALL of the youth are in that pile: they really do enjoy each other.
It makes me happy to be a part of this team and it makes me pleased to be their pastor.
Tomorrow I expect even more community building, fun, and work. Can't wait to get to it! - Scott
